Jo has spent her career working as an occupational therapist in health, social care and the private sector, with the last 20 years in leadership roles. Jo is passionate about her profession and holds an absolute belief that occupational therapy makes a positive difference to both individuals and the local health and social care economies. Jo maintains her clinical practice and acts as an expert witness, in addition to her consultancy work.
At present Jo is working on a Midlands wide project, alongside a colleague in the East of the region. The project aims to map and scope the whole allied health profession workforce within social care, highlighting areas of great practice and showcasing the value AHP's bring to the communities they serve.
