The Commissioning Network includes adult social care commissioners from each of our 14 councils along with representation from Skills for Care, CQC and other partners involved in commissioning care services for older people.

A virtual network, it meets bi-monthly to support our Improvement Programme by sharing information and best practice across the region. It also aims to:
- support a sustainable care market and workforce in the West Midlands
- enable people to live the lives they wish to lead
- promote social justice and narrow the gap in health and care outcomes for people facing inequality
The Network is sponsored by Paul Smith, Director of Adult Services, Herefordshire Council, chaired by Fran Kelsey, Head of Business Systems and Improvement at Worcestershire County Council, and managed by Alan Lotinga and Paul Johnston, WM ADASS Associates.
