Sandra has been working for Coventry City Council as an adult social worker in the All-Age Disability Service since 2019. She is currently undertaking her Professional Doctorate in health and social care with the University of Northampton. Sandra’s research interests include domestic violence, disability justice and anti-racist practice. She previously graduated with a Degree and Master's in Human Rights and, more recently Master's in Social Work. Sandra is a BASW Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) group member. Before becoming a social worker Sandra worked as an Independent Mental Health Advocate and was employed within the domestic violence sector for eight years.
