Who we are

ADASS is the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services in England.

We are the regional branch representing the 14 directors running services across the West Midlands.

Our wider membership includes deputy and assistant directors, and principal social workers.  We have a team of associates who provide specialist advice and support and business partners who work with us on projects and initiatives.

We recognise our duty to care for and support every member of society and we have some important priorities, including;

  • Justice for our most vulnerable and marginalised citizens
  • Truly-integrated working across social care and health services
  • Building a strong case for intelligent public investment
  • Ensuring our social care staff are paid fairly for what they do and supported in their work
