WM-ADASS Associate

Raj has worked in public sector for 44 years (with 25 years at Milton Keynes Council) predominantly challenging services, project managing continuous improvement programme either prior to or following a regulatory inspection or from internal reviews and assessments (working with Corporate Directors, Heads of Services and members). The focus has always been to ensure the council continues to deliver excellent value for money services to local communities (supporting Adult Social Care and Housing services since 2000).

Raj left council employment in 2013 and spent 2013/14 working as a consultant on adult social care business support at Bournemouth Borough Council and West Sussex County Council. This was followed by appointments in 2014 as an associate supporting the Sector Led Improvement programme and Performance and Information Network for ADASS South East (until 2020) and West Midlands (since 2014) and North East Region from February 2021. He also project managed the Wolverhampton "Proof of Concept work" during 2017/18 following IEWM securing grant funding from the LGA/NHSD for development of data gathering and analysis to assist with DToC data dashboard development.

Raj has also been a trustee of a minority ethnic charity in Milton Keynes, namely Milton Keynes Hindu Association between1998 to 2020
