WM-ADASS Associate
Mark has over 30 years’ experience as a senior manager and qualified social worker in social care. He was previously Deputy Director for Children’s and Adult Services at Coventry City Council. He also was joint chair/policy lead for the Physical and Sensory Impairment Network for the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services.
He is now an independent consultant and has worked with the voluntary sector and people with sight loss to produce a non-branded booklet for people who are newly certified as severely sight impaired/sight impaired. He also led the updating of the Certificate of Vision Impairment. Along with working as an Associate for Improvement and Efficiency West Midlands, Mark chairs the Safeguarding Adults Board in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
