Healthy Ageing in the West Midlands: Findings of the West Midlands Healthy Ageing and Frailty Project

The region has recently published a report that builds on work started in 2013 and is the culmination of joint work between West Midlands Association of Directors of Public Health, the West Midlands Association of Directors of Adult Social Services, the Public Health England West Midlands, and partners who have worked with us to begin a regional conversation and agree a shared set of regional priorities around approaches to prevention as an alternative to the ever increasing demands being placed on health and care services.

The work has been led by Dr Richard Harling, Worcestershire (now Staffordshire) on behalf of WM ADASS and has included contributions from social care and public health staff across the region.
