Health & Social Care Reform – Outputs from the West Midlands Workshop
This event took place on Friday 24 October 2014 at BVSC in Birmingham and was run by Socitm in partnership with the ADASS West Midlands region.
Socitm had been invited to establish a programme of activity to help spread the learned practice from the Health and Social Care Pioneers and from elsewhere.
The Summits have begun the process of raising the level of awareness and understanding, and engagement and ownership of what needs to be done with information and technology to successfully implement health and social care reform in localities.
The Regional Workshops, like this one, were designed to enable participants to address the key issues generated from the Summit deliberations and to consider how these could be addressed in their localities (regionally, sub-regionally and locally).
The West Midlands workshop was chaired by Jenny Wood (Warwickshire County Council), brought together national leads in IT and social care specialists from across the region. Slides from the day and further information about the event can be found here: https://docsend.com/view/fttrirw
