Case Study – Solihull Alzheimer’s Activity Group

As part of “Making it Real”, Solihull have been working with the Solihull Alzheimer’s Activity Group to talk about living with dementia. One of the outcomes from these discussions is that the group has written a letter, sharing their experiences of living with dementia – they would now like us to share the letter with people newly diagnosed with dementia. This letter can be forwarded to relevant partners who talk/help people newly diagnosed.

This letter has been written by “The Solihull Alzheimer’s Activity Group “, which is a group of around 20 people (now friends) living with dementia, who meet weekly to have fun and support each other.
